News and Information
Kent Prather retired from SCCA championship racing after the Daytona Runoffs in 2015. The racing has not stopped, just moved to Vintage racing with the group at Road America and the race called the HAWK in July. Racing will continue at other tracks such as Heartland Motorsports Part in Topeka, Ks. And Hallett in Oklahoma. The 1962 MGA racecar, which has been racing continuously since 1963, and has 6 SCCA National Championships, (Kent has 8 total) is still competitive. The car won the all MG Focus race event in 2019 at Road America despite a very good field of MGAs, MGBs and MGCs.
